Air Duct Cleaning
The air duct systems in our homes are usually hidden behind
the walls or in the basement above our heads. They are used
to distribute either heated air from the furnace or cool air
from the air conditioning system to the individual rooms.
The air ducts are also used to bring "return air"
back to the air handler for reheating or cooling.
Dust, dirt, pollen, animal dander and other airborne contaminants
are pulled into the duct system every time the furnace or
air conditioner runs. These contaminants build up inside
the ductwork over time and can help make your duct work
an ideal breeding ground for mold spores, bacteria, fungus,
mildew and other microbes. Each time the furnace or air
conditioner is turned on, these contaminants are spewed
out and circulated throughout your home effecting your family's
health and comfort.
TOP TO BOTTOM has chosen the HEPA-AIRE
duct cleaning system for state of the art source removal
duct cleaning. The two main components of the system are
the HEPA-AIRE portable power vacuum and the AIRE-SWEEP compressor.
The HEPA-AIRE vacuum is attached directly to the duct system
near your furnace and is in constant operation causing a
powerful suction within the entire duct system. The AIRE-SWEEP
compressor is then used with a variety of long hoses and
attachment heads which are snaked throughout the system.
The high velocity air flow produced by the AIRE-SWEEP compressor
dislodges the debris and pushes it into the path of the
vacuum produced by the HEPA-AIRE.
The filtration system in the HEPA-AIRE vacuum is so efficient
that it captures contaminants 1/300th the diameter of a
human hair and returns filtered "hospital grade"
air to your home.
